I bought a banana plant from a gentleman about a year and a half ago. Decent sized plant. He told me at the time that it was an Apple Banana. I had no way of knowing other than his word. About 6 months after buying it from him we took a trip to Oahu to visit our daughter. During that trim several people pointed out Apple Banana plants to us. I saw several with flowers. I now have a flower on my banana plant and it doesn't look even remotely like the ones I saw in Hawaii. Curious as to what I might have. Seems really slender compared to my Cavendish, Pisang Awaks, and Blue Javas.
