Musa basjoo flowering Oct. '07

Poster: bigdog (see this users gallery) Didn't really expect a flower this year, but got one anyway. Only the second year in the ground, you still can't beat Musa basjoo for cold-hardiness (yet?). I really planted it in an awful spot too (right against the house, under the gutters! DOH!). I'll probably move it next year.

I am going to have to move it soon...I have no idea what I was thinking when I gave it one of my best microclimates!
