Now that I live in Leisure World, I have a co-op with an enclosed balcony. I still have bananas-2 that is- a dwarf cavand a Truly Tiny. Also an assortment of tropical hibiscus, plumeria, bougainvilleas, palms (Tamaulipas and bamboo), draecenas, orchids, clivia, eppiphylum, and a variegated alocasia. Hardly room to get in to water!
