Is my basjoo poorly?

Poster: ego (see this users gallery) I have this little basjoo indoors next to a window with plenty of light, also direct sunlight. I water once/week in the winter. The temperature is about 17 C. No draught from the window. It doesn't look very happy, any idea why?

Maybe low humidity, also watch out for spider mites on the bottom of the leaves. If there is a waxy feeling brown coating, its most likely spider mites.
