A year and a half ago the crew of a gardener I hired chopped up my wife's prize, her Monstera Deliciosa, as the fruit was just ripening.
I thought they had ruined the plant but now I see that they have actually done us a favor. We now have two plants and a 3 foot section that is bare except for one other leaf just starting out.
We plan to remove the entire 3 foot section and cut it into 6 inch parts and start 6 more plants.
