Took this photo last September when the sun came out after weeks of rain...the tallest is Musa rajapuri which stands at about 12 feet in its pot...had to fold the leaves down in October and tilt the pot over to overwinter it in my greenhouse. Surviving OK at minimum temp. of 10c (50f). It's now end of February and it's trying to send out new leaves. Still got 3 months before it can go back outside...I hope after all this effort it rewards me with my first ever bunch of bananas!

are you 100% sure that it's a rajapuri? you would think that it would fruit at that hight in a pot. they only get 6 to 8 feet in the ground.

Hi Matt...it was purchased as a rajapuri, so I have to assume it is...maybe this year it will fruit...at the moment it's in the greenhouse at an angle looking a bit sorry for itself but it's got to stay there till end of May! I live in hope.
