Well I think it depends where you are from but they are all the same. I call them Cuban Red, KJ calls them Puerto Rican Morado (purple) and sometimes they are referred to as Jamaican red. But they are a Tall Red. The flower emerged at about 13ft high. The plant can also be found as a Dwarf red

All red bananas are not the same, just like all green bananas are not the same, and all plantains are not the same.
All of this fruits are very similar, but not the same.

What is the difference between the reds? I have been trying to learn more about them. I remembered one more the Red Iholene and that is different.
