In this case I left 1 sword in place where the original plant was, planted 1 sword elsewhere, and planted this water sucker elsewhere. The water sucker was in the best spot with the least wind and close competition from other bananas, yet only gets half day sun while the others get full. It's double the size of the others. Just because overall they seem to be associated with less fruit production in large scale farming does not mean they shouldn't be used if it is an expensive plant and you have the room. This water sucker put out 11 pups so far, 1 of which I sold for $100, making back what I spent on the original plant and then some!
