Poster: iz (see this users gallery) Shale-an expandable mineral rock when wet that always retains 30% air so roots have access to air-drown proof; great for good drainage soil. Heard it helps to loosen clay in garden bed.

With shale, I'm mixing it with perlite and potting mix-miracle grow mix w/ water control, and maybe cactus mix(option). This should do great with root-rot-sensitive-plants.
