Surprised am I to see an orchid flower in this adorable red-orange color. The color of the leaves are also very pretty according to other photos at various web sites. Thanks for posting.

soundofthemusic1 - by breeding Sophronitis - which is usually red or orange-red - into Cattleya and Laelia crosses, hybridizers were able to get more and more red in the blooms. This is an SLC which is a Sophronitis / Laelia / Cattleya cross.
