My Palm Trees in Snow: T. fortunei & B. capitata

Poster: JuniPerez (see this users gallery) These are some of my cold-hardy palm trees. They're potted, so I keep them outside, unprotected (except for a spraying of FreezePruf every month), until Mid-December. They are brought in to my back porch, where temperatures usually go no lower than the low to mid teens (°F). They are brought out again in late March-early April. Two unpictured which are outside in-ground are a Needle Palm (no protection) and a Waggie (T. wagnerianus) which only gets a spraying of FreezePruf and nothing else (planted August 2008).

The Needle Palm is the most cold hardy Palm and is an Endangered plant species.

Yes... I read something about it's endangerment in the wild. Apparently some sloth was the only animal who could feed on the fruit and spread the seeds all over. Other animals can't take the pricking from the needles on the trunk.
