Wow Thanks Ante...The Sali village does not usually go below 40 degrees. Olives abound and just a few palms. Most gardens are utilitarian that could be why. Gosh, chatting with you makes me so homesick for Croatia....I wish I could live in both places! I feel so at home there. I would like to be able to work there, the next time I go....I love picking olives and I would love to garden there! I always say, maybe when I retire!!! Trying to talk my niece and nephews into maybe getting a place there. I have heard Croatia is welcoming back families who left, like my grandfather...some day!
