Thanks Sherry for your compliments. Yes, those are the fruits of the plant. Very interesting even if you don't use them, but they are quite versatile, and the plants are so productive. Two required for pollination, I hope you noted. I think I'll work on putting together a piece for the Wiki or a forum though. That's one of the "tell-tale" characteristics of most of the members here, they're all interested in plants in general. By the way, your Tamarillo is looking great, putting on lots of healthy looking new growth. Better get that potted up before it's too large to move. I'm guessing you'll be able to keep it growing on in a house environment, given it's native origins. One last time....then you'll be an "expert" on the topic too.....I have a Tomatillo, you have a Tamarillo.....no wonder there's confusion, they sound so much alike, but are quite uniquelly different.
