Poster: ron_mcb (see this users gallery) note: not a good idea to chop orinoco after 1st season because you may get the bud. if grown in ground they are very quick to fruit from pup within a 12 month period. dwarf Orinoco after being cut low in early spring of 2009.. it caught back up and fruited. i think the cause of damage was insulation i used to protect the p-stem. it became wet and waterlogged,and caused rot .. started testing last winter to see what would happen if i didn't try to protect the plant .
