Here's my freshly grown Lemon Balm that can be grown indoors or out. It's perennial. I like to use mine to make tea with the dried leaves.

Very nice looking esp if you grew them inside! I planted some out over 10 yrs ago & they want to spread - EVERYWHERE LOL. They take my Z5 winters just fine.
I will make tea w/ them for a change...good idea

Yes, when I cut the shoots back to dry for tea leaves, in no time flat many new shoots begin to develop and spread everywhere. It seems like a very invasive herb and I like it best in a pot to keep it under control.


I'm going to post some shots of the leaves and how I dry them...
