Dragon Fruit cuttings after winter months

These cuttings are growing in California. Specifically, the southern part of the Central San Joaquin Valley/Tulare County/Visalia City. They seem to have had a tough time. Most have turned pale with rust colored spots. Some of the spots have actually developed into holes in the plant. The exception to this seems to be the variety called Voodoo Child. They look Great. Healthy w/ deep dark green.
