This is at UT Gardens in Knoxville. Some say that it is very closely related to E. ventricosum, maybe even just a variety of it. I don't think so! Very difficult to raise these from seed, as they are finicky and quite susceptible to fungal problems when young. This plant is about a year old from seed, and was planted out this spring at about a foot tall.
