This was a tough melon to get. I planted most of my seeds last year and most did not germinate/emerge and the remainder died although most of my melons did well. I had two seeds left coming into this season and both germinated but one got stuck in the seed coat and surgery was a failure. I grew it in a small pot to get it started and then picked an isolated location in well-drained soil and watched it very carefully. Now I have maybe 1,000 seeds to play with! :D
