Planted in weak acid (pH ~6) soil/sand. I have also mixed the soil with perlite, blood powder and coffe beans (to keep the soil weak acid). The corm was dipped in rooting hormone. I read that bananas create greater and faster rootsystem in higher soil temp. So I wraped a heatmat (my mothers, for her back ) around the pot. With a timer I am able to keep the soil temp. at 31 C. The soil is just keeping moist. Hope this will do my aeae good??? |
