Last year I grew Purple Bells. The skin was purple but the inside flesh was green and the taste was identical to green bell. Is it that way with yours?

& you're right! Very green inside & tastes just like a green bell pepper. I'ts almost like somebody took a Green Bell & gave it a heavy coat of dark purple paint.
