I grew these Orinocos in 2005...my first experiences with edible bananas. They got so big and heavy that after two years I finally gave up on them out of frustration really. I then turned to non-edible types such as Musa basjoo. Then, in 2008, I started getting interested in edible bananas again focusing on Dwarf Orinoco, Raja Puri, and other dwarfs at my attempt to get more fruit. I gave these bananas you see in this pic to a guy that installed my sprinkler system back in Spring 06!
