I think Winsorw must have a better climate, living in a banana belt! Maybe you should compare soil, fertilization, and other cultural methods. I know of people with small pups who have much better luck in getting them to grow fast than me. I have a hard time deciding if I'm watering them enough or too much but I do have some that grow very well for me. My biggest mistake is I often pot them in a 5 gallon pot when a 1 gallon or 2 gallon would be a better choice since they don't get over-watered as easily and the soil warms up more.
