Winsorw's Veinte Cohol

Photo Details
Poster: chong  (see this users gallery)

Wilas (winsorw) lives a few miles south of me. He got this VC at least a good month later than I did mine last May. Don't think it's the weather because nighttime temperatures outside have been dipping in the mid-40s even in July, more so in August. I have mine inside a greenhouse. I don't remember if he received a leafed plant or a small corm like mine, though.

I think Winsorw must have a better climate, living in a banana belt! Smile Maybe you should compare soil, fertilization, and other cultural methods. I know of people with small pups who have much better luck in getting them to grow fast than me. I have a hard time deciding if I'm watering them enough or too much but I do have some that grow very well for me. My biggest mistake is I often pot them in a 5 gallon pot when a 1 gallon or 2 gallon would be a better choice since they don't get over-watered as easily and the soil warms up more.

Chong,
How tall is this plant?
We need something in the pic for scale.
