Picture of the flag leaf about to sprout after 13 months in the ground. I believe this plant was about two months old when I bought it back in July 08. It had four leaves then, so I'm guessing it had four prior to that time giving it about 8 leaves.

My best guess is 15-16 months total age, and the mat has established itself rather well.
