That is beauty, but not well adapted to sun and hot yet. :D Did it have Cavendish like markings when it was very little?

Hi Jack!
I have some DC too, the coloring on the leaves is similar, but you can tell they are different Bananas. It has had the red staining on the leaves.

Hello Cheryl,
I'm sure that we'll all benefit from helping each other. I have a neighbor that seems to know quite a bit. At least his bananas are producing proficiently. He recently helped me acquire 70 more asian plants. I'll have to ask him if he knows them by anything else other than "Asian Bananas" :>) His fruit grow only to about 6 inches each and are wider around than gran nains.
