Poster: lorax (see this users gallery) These are improved Gros Michel bananas, about the standard size; previous pics were of an unusually small bunch. These bananas averaged 30 cm of length, about 15 cm of girth, and weighed about 500g each. They're very tasty, but one single finger provides enough banana for up to three fruit salads.

Yup, they're quite sweet, with pink flesh, and just a bit more solid in texture than "normal" bananas - firm but chewable without being mealy. There's none of that icky aftertaste either.
