Thanks for the kind words about my photos, Jazz. Sorry for being so long in responding...I just came across your comments. I primarily leave all of my bananas in the ground and protect some of them with freeze cloth. Our winters are pretty mild here. I've lived here for over 6 years now and our lowest tempoerature has been 29 F, I think, so we don't very cold too often.
