Maqueños / Gros Michel

Poster: lorax (see this users gallery) This is a short hand (5 fingers) of Maqueños; this is the Gros Michel cultivar as seen in Ecuadorean markets. Native Ecuadoreans don't consider it to be a dessert banana - it's the main ingredient in a number of cakes.
