Hello.
i really dont know, but i think that the fruit is edible.I have planted Musa ensete vetricosum seeds in a pot.I hope they will grow real
soon. Here in sweden its spring but today it fell a lot of snow,so
the spring will be a little delayed.I long for the time to come when
the bananas can move into our garden.I can recommend "MUSA BASJOO".Its a real fastgrower but it produces no bananas. Its called fibre banana cause of the making of fibres of the plant.
