Some years ago I saw beautiful specimens of the hibiscus "Red Shield" in Calloway Gardens GA. I always wanted to try growing them but could never find plants here in Pgh. or even on the internet. This year I found some seeds, planted them abut 3 weeks ago and now they are off to a good start (so far). More transplanting chores.
