Just planted (6-Dec-08) in Tucson. First attempt at growing banana plants. Took a while to get the soil mixture right. Weather 65°F-75°F should be OK to keep outdoors for now.

Well, they had gotten real big about a year and half ago and some of them had fruited, but they were hit with a frost. I lost all the fruit. They have all come back now and are about 4 foot tall. Hopefully some fruit near the end of year. I think I'll be planting them in the ground. They need constant fertilizing in the pots.
