Howard, you sure take great care of your babies very well.
Gale, Howard has taken the water plants from the cold outside and they are in his heated aquarium.

Thanks Tog. Just waiting for the water temp to get up to 60F! The pond is still frozen today, but they're forecasting 70s over the weekend. Still, these guys are inside until around May/June.

I see fish in there!
How cold can they handle? Could you put a few strong aquarium heaters in the pond itself just to keep it from freezing? If that would even work...it would depend on if the lilies can take it even that cold.

Some of the fish are tropicals that are in the pond during the warmer months (black mollies, guppies and a pleco catfish). I bring them in otherwise they wouldn't make it thru the winter. There are some other fish that are 100% indoors (black neon tetras, mickey mouse platys, and adolphi cory cats). The pond's too big to heat (1,000 gal.). When I pulled the fish out in the fall the water temp was 50F! There are about 11 goldfish that overwinter in the pond.
