This variety is from the Andes mountains in South America. Similar in look to the Coconut palm, they can take temperatures down into the 20's once they get bigger. Very wind resistant, they prefer to be grown in full sun as well. These produce golf ball sized seeds that hold a mini coconut which tastes just like the big coconut.
