This M. Tomoc came from Jon (Pitangadiego) with another of the same variety. Both were 2 ft sword pups, but somehow this one never grew out of the sheath. It just gradually turned black from the top outer sheath until it was a black 6-inch long sheath and 3/4-inch diameter at the base. I was spraying it with fungicide twice a week but it went down to that anyway. 3 weeks ago, I saw what I thought was a weed, but turned out to be a new slender pup. this was followed by a green slit in the blackened original sheath that turned out to be the original plant pushing out some growth. another week after that, there was another pup growing. This was taken over a week ago.
