how tall and old is that banana in that picture, im getting a 5 foot one and i want to know if it will bloom by this summer?

A 5 footer could be ready to bloom, that one was perhaps 4'-5' at the crown. So many races of DC, you will just have to see what you get...
Put it in the ground and feed it well.

Wow! That is beautiful! I've had my Dwarf Cavendish in the ground for two years, no fruit...but being a newbie, I let it pup too much...and haven't fed it...
So cut most pups out and will start feeding. Any recommendations? Someone told me to give it citrus tree food but I thought I'd ask you since you clearly know what you are doing! My soil is a bit clay-ish....
