This is the plant I got a few days ago from Home Depot. It was just labeled Musa Banana. I emailed the grower and was told it's a Dwarf Cavendish. Any thoughts? It's about 3' tall with a 6" sucker (on the left of it in the picture), and one 2" baby popping up. It was in a pot and very root bound.

Is indeed Dwarf Cavendish>>> HD pretty much only carries DC, with an occasional Raja Puri or Zebrinus...

Thanks Randy, They also had some Red Abyssinians. I think I'm going to go back and pick one of the reds up for my mom. They won't produce bananas though correct?
