I picked one up from homebase last year,they had them mixed in with the normal basjoos.Newforesthostas are selling them as red stemmed cavendish which explains why they're so hard to overwinter.

yes thanks, just looked. not entirely convinced by some of the mis-descriptions/mis naming. I bought red cav from them earlier in the year and they are different to the red basjoo's.
happy to see another banana retailer...
