Plantano Hawaiino or Hua Moa are one of my favorites and the first banana plant (Summer 1993) I purchased from Going Bananas (when Bill Lessard owned the grove; based on his wife's recommendation).


These truly are excellent bananas with many uses. Boiled green, the "best" tostones, pan fried ripe or eaten out of hand when fully ripe.
