First bananas 2012
Last Comment Posted Musa Basjoo early blooms
That is really great, hydroid. I am not too far from you, up here just south of hwy 98 in Baldwin County. I was able to save both of my bananas as 4/5 ft. stems this winter. They are up and growing now. I never thought they could possibly bloom as early as yours are around here. It really gives me hope for having my first fruits this year. What do you use for fertilizer? I have lots of chicken manure and rotted hay around mine. This will be their second summer.
