Plants are VERY close to each other. IMO, they are too close and it will hurt yields and make treating them/picking very difficult. I highly recommend watching this DVD (can order or watch it in the thread also):
http://www.bananas.org/f2/new-dvd-about-growing-bananas-available-8468.html
It has a lot of information on field design and crop management that would be helpful!

there are 2 large ladyfingers, a couple unknowns, 4 ensete maurelii, a margarita, a couple of bordelons, a siam ruby, and a couple of others I'd have to look at the tags on to know for sure in this shot. I haven't done anything to them except dig them, stuff them in a pot, water them once a week or so, and spray for spider mites a couple of times. There is also a fan blowing on them from my growing area about 15 feet away, and they get light from the grow light that's 10 feet away. They are slowly pushing out leaves.
