Yes, they definitely have the blue color with a silverish coat. It did not take 10 weeks or longer to get to that color, just a few days. Have you posted some pictures in the ID section? You might have a Namwah type which taste very yummy. A lot if not all banana plants you buy in nurseries here in the US are mis-labeled as Blue Java Ice Cream plants but they are not. I do not know if that applies to Australia as well. Post a photo of your plant, flower and fruits in the ID section for all of us, so we can try to help you ID your plant. |

Do yours have the blue colour yet? My bunch is over 10 weeks old now they are starting to fatten up but no blue colour yet. |
