Yes, extremely tasty. Very sweet and fruity. There are a lot of seeds so it's work, but well worth it. Save the seeds and plant them.

Looks like regular E. ventricosum.
You know, Ante, it does. This plant is 4 years old, and has gone from being red as hell to what you see today. The red p-stem of new growth augurs for Maurelli, as my ventricosum has more of a green p-stem.
