Thankk you so much T.H.L. The blooms are about 8-10 inches in length and the type is some sort of "Echinopsis"? I believe. These plants were offsets from ones I bought from Wally World in the mid-eighties! They survive here in zone7-b with a towel thrown over them when the temps go below the low 20's. Regards, Drew |

Make sure they're getting good sun exposure and if lots of fruits are already present and you have a good crop, I find cutting the tops of new shoots and discontinuing the plant from growing any further, can help it to concentrate and focus on it's existing fruit and ripen a little quicker.
