Mine are not massive, but more like messy, because I don't have a good trellis or a support structure for their vines to climb. I must have under-fertilize them, too, because it was more than three months before I got my first loofah squash.

Dean,
My Mexican Petunias grow to be 6 feet tall. I don't know you consider that the taller or the shorter variety. They are like bamboos, really easy to root. But watch out for the deer; they like to eat my Mexican Petunias.
You can just cut the stems and root them in water. They are really low-maintenance flowering plants.
