We were at Disney World last year about this time and I saw these plants and would really would like to have some. I think they are a ginger... Anyone know what these are and where I could get some?

I would not really call it "sunshine;" but it has been in a floor to ceiling south facing window for at least 6 hours of "sun" all winter. House was built in '95; not the greatest of glass as far as Low-E. I believe they get 70% of true "sun."

I have a perfect place for it under a stand of huge Short Leaf Pines that are adjacent to my Orinocos every year! That's if I put it in the ground... I'm kinda scared I may loose it!

Make sure when spring comes increase natural sunlight slowly, as it will "sunburn" easier than most bananas. Great Job!!!
