When I saw the first pic of your little purple seeds...I was jealous! Now, I am even more jealous! : o I am going to sow some of my "Violetta" basil today just because of this picture. I love purple basil but Genevese is my favorite. However this picture has now got me craving both kinds...green & purple. That's gonna be delicious for you. I'm completely uncertain that they're M. Acuminata because the red in the leaves goes away as the plant matures, but the stem remains red, so I'm at a loss. I wish somebody that knew Nanners better than I do would let me know! Zebrina has the darker leaf underside, if I remember correctly. I always just said these were Dwarf Cav's, but I am really not too sure. |
