Me too. That's a photo of the fruit produced by some plants a friend brought me. His neighbor was thinning a very large Mat across his back yard. He brought me more than a dozen pups/corms. That's what I have to look forward to. Can't wait :-)

They seem to vary in how red they are. The easiest way to explain it is this: imagine a normal banana that is green until it turns yellow when it is ripe. Now paint that banana with a semitransparent layer of red that stays the same throughout the ripening process. So, the redness doesn't change, but the underlying green-yellow does.
