Bill finch over in Mobile wrote an article about getting Bananas (fruit) here locally and says that if we resist the urge to cut them down that we stand alot better chance of getting fruit. I never cut any of mine unless it is obvious that they are not gonna make and usually when they start falling down or soft mushy and hollow near the top. |

Here in central alabama, my basjoos are doing pretty good so far. But i cut mine to the ground every year. would they get taller if i left them like you do yours in the pic? |
