The Aquaponics (4" pipes) is going to have Lettuce, spinach, herbs, cherry tomatoes, & things with small root systems. I have 3 275 IBC totes in the basement that are going to house the fish (Aquaponics) and will have larger tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, carrots and such.
Room originally was going to be for citrus trees and now I am hooked on Bananas.

It's not upside down. You must be viewing it from South of the Equator. I'll have to fix this later. Ha ha.

I don't know what variety they are. Some of the plants are about 15' high. This flower is around 5-6 feet high. It has been extremely dry since September when it flowered, so I am watering.

Does anyone know if these red bananas will bear fruit or are they decorative. When I purchased them the label said dwarf red banana but it is now 12ft tall and almost 3 years old and no fruit coming out. This question is about the first two trees in this picture. Any comment will be highly appreciated. Thanks!
