Be sure to save seeds and let us know in the hot pepper thread how they taste.

I have experience at growing these shrubs from seed. They're perennial, even in my zone. They take 2-3 years to produce berries when grown from seed, but not until the 4th or 5th years do they begin to produce their highest yields of berries.
Pruning these shrubs while they're young, will make them dense and full. They're very susceptible to insect infestations so be careful to keep them protected.
Full sun is best and will bring the biggest crops of berries. The seeds germinate in a week, when fresh.
Good luck with them, Dean!

In case you are interested, I was told Gogi Berries were very easy to root from cuttings. All you need to do is stick the cuttings in the ground (bury one third to one half of the stem) and they will grow.
