Awesome picture!!! We had a nest this year with two babies. It was fascinating watching them grow. Although I did get "empty nest syndrome" when they left the nest. Sad

Maybe you should try squatting and getting a shot from that perspective. Many people take shots just standing but I often squat or get up on something taller, depending on what I'm after. Many young kids are made to look too short because their parents won't squat! Still, a nice shot!

Great pic Kylie - our hummers don't migrate so they are much more territorial - never get that many on a feeder as they chase each other away. Only the big hummers come to the feeder - the little chaps (2.5 inches) stay on the cigarette plants Russelia equisetiformis and the passiflora and hibiscus.

Hi, I bought this Yucca in Spring this year and it was already of this size. I think Y.Rostrata are very slow growing. I have several other Yuccas in my garden, most from roots sprouts of the mother plant and after 5 or 6 years are stillhalf a foot tall.Ciao

What a special photo!

It's great to see you guys out in Cali getting together. Looks like a very successful event!

Hopefully one day we can have set dates and locations for meetups on a more regular basis.

Regardless, thanks for sharing this picture. It's especially nice to put faces with the names.
